Annual Employee Training Program 2026, organized by the Quality Control Department of SRT Electrified Train Company Limited (SRTET), operator of the Red Line suburban railway, in collaboration with organizations and partner networks representing persons with disabilities and older persons. The training was held on 25–26 April 2026.
The objective of this training was to ensure that service personnel develop a correct and comprehensive understanding of appropriate passenger service practices, which directly contributes to the quality of service and greater confidence in serving passengers of all groups.
Based on anonymous feedback and evaluations submitted by training participants, the program received an overall satisfaction score of 96%, comprising:
- Practical application of knowledge: 98%
- Trainers provided clear and easy-to-understand explanations: 98%
- Increased knowledge after the training: 97%
- Increased confidence in providing services after the training: 95%
- Training content was relevant to actual work responsibilities: 94%
Another major objective—and a significant achievement—of this training program was to provide training to 100% of all employees involved in passenger service operations. Combined with the highly positive participant feedback, this represents an outstanding achievement for both the training team and SRTET, reflecting the results of our continuous collaboration over the years.
SRTET is also considered the first rail public transportation service provider in the world to have successfully trained 100% of its operational staff. (Further information is provided below.)
Having the correct understanding and providing appropriate services to passengers who may require additional assistance are fundamental to improving overall safety across public transportation services.
We and SRTET have worked together for many years to reduce accessibility gaps and promote equality in passenger services. Through this collaboration, we have also helped establish new standards for rail transportation services, including the introduction of boarding ramps for train carriages on both the Airport Rail Link (ARL) and the Red Line, improvements to accessibility facilities within stations, and the implementation of ongoing staff training programs.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to SRTET, its management team, and the Quality Control Department for continuously recognizing the importance of these training programs.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the strong collaboration and commitment of our training team:
- Thailand Association of the Blind
- National Association of the Deaf in Thailand
- Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability of Thailand
- Senior Citizens Council of Thailand
- Transportation for All (T4A) Network

Together, we will continue to work proactively across every dimension to raise standards, promote greater inclusion, and help make society better every day.
Thank you.
