PM 2.5, along with other fine particles and air pollutants, continues to impact us more severely. One of the major causes is traffic and vehicle emissions. Public transportation in Bangkok, especially metro trains, and buses, has improved significantly over the past decade.

This photo was taken during the Khon Kaen Marathon last year. I joined the race because I love the race and friends, just like what this picture captures. The picture shows that everyone is a runner, each with different physical condition—some older, some younger, some with short legs, others with long ones and I’m just a runner with my wheelchair. Regardless of these differences, we can run together and compete, just like in real life.

“Feel sorry for people with disabilities” reflects a perspective often associated with pity or sympathy toward people with disabilities. While it might seem well-intentioned, it can also suggest a mindset that views people with disabilities as “less fortunate” or “in need of help” rather than recognizing them as individuals with equal potential.
