When running is not just a competition but a shared experience for everyone — that is what Ray Run Pattaya is proving.
The Ray Run Pattaya charity event (2nd edition) is set for Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Central Pattaya Beach, Chonburi. A dedicated wheelchair racing category is a core part of the event — people with disabilities who use wheelchairs are not spectators, but competitors running the same course as everyone else.
This is the difference between “acceptance” and “inclusion” — designing events so everyone participates from the start, not retrofitting afterward.
Organized by Pattaya City, Father Ray Foundation, Thai Paralympic Sports Association, Lions Clubs International, and Inspire Runner, under the theme “Be the Rays of Hope for Children in Need and the Disabled.” Approximately 1,000 participants are expected.
What stands out is not just the event, but Pattaya’s direction as a global hub for inclusive tourism. Designing for everyone from the start shows “Accessibility Is Freedom” is more than words.
So the question remains — what public places in our daily lives still need to be “designed for everyone”?
