To promote the implementation of the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025, I had the opportunity to speak before the closing of the seminar with the following remarks:

According to AJ Suporntum, people with disabilities in Thailand have been fighting for their rights for 30 long years. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it?
Let’s rewind to about seven years ago, when people with disabilities won the case against BTS. We were all thrilled. When we met with AJ Narong, he told us, “Don’t celebrate until you’ve actually tested it out…”

When people can travel, it creates opportunities for them to develop themselves equally.

“People with disabilities” often make demands, asking for this or that. But one thing we all need to rethink is that our physical condition can change at any time. Today, I use the elevator and the ramp, but these are guarantees that if your body changes tomorrow, you will still be able to live like everyone else.

We must urgently address old problems and prevent new ones from arising.

Currently, both the government and civil society are working together intensely. This is a beautiful picture and the answer to sustainable problem-solving.

This year, I want to see everyone in Thailand work together with the same intensity. As a member of T4A, we work centrally, trying to reach every corner despite many limitations. What’s crucial is that we must have partners and leaders. Everyone should protect and take care of their own community.

I am delighted that we are part of the Asian Enabling Masterplan this year, and it’s an honor to meet all of you. We will continue working together to build a strong network at both the national and global levels.

Thank you.
