The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 mandates that 60-70 medium and large hub airports across America install at least one private adult changing station per terminal building by 2030.
Currently, JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark have no adult changing tables at all. Many travelers still have to lie on public bathroom floors—a matter of dignity, safety, and hygiene.
Meanwhile, Asian airports like Singapore Changi, Hong Kong, and Tokyo Haneda have had these facilities for years.
🇹🇭 Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi Airport has improved adequately, but does not yet have adult changing tables. I want to see Thai airports take the next step, so everyone can travel with dignity equally.
